Cllr Phil Rimmer steps down from representing Weaver and Cuddington Ward.

“It is with regret that Phil Rimmer has chosen to stand down as Councillor for Weaver and Cuddington with immediate effect, due to a change in professional and personal circumstances.

I know Phil has learned a lot from his time on the Council and we wish him all the best in his new career path.

A by-election for Weaver and Cuddington ward will take place in due course, and we will share more details once it is announced.”

Statement from Cllr Adrian Waddelove on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Conservatives:

Weaver and Cuddington ward is a three member ward and will continue to be represented by Conservative Cllr Lynn Stocks and Independent Cllr Gillian Edwards. The by-election for the 3rd seat is expected to take place in early July.
