Thank you for electing us as your 3 Councillors for Weaver and Cuddington Ward (which comprises Weaverham, Acton Bridge, Bartington, Cuddington, Delamere Park, Dutton and Sandiway) of Cheshire West and Chester Council back in May.
Weaverham resident Paul Williams, an active member of the Weaverham Trust, and Harry Tonge, a former Delamere Parish Council Chairman, have joined Charles Fifield, from Acton Bridge, your borough Councillor since 2011.
We were pleased to have been able to attend the Cuddington & Sandiway Gala, the Weaverham Rose Fete, the Royal British Legion summer lunch, the Weaverham & Acton Bridge Village Show. We were very pleased to be able to attend the ceremonial re-opening of the Round Tower in Sandiway at the end of July.
The previous Conservative run administration, froze the Council tax last year and this year as well. Cheshire West & Chester Council has been investing in Northwich, we are pleased the new Northwich Memorial Court leisure centre opened in May, the Lion Salt Works opened in March and construction is fully under way at Barons Quay.
